"We got it wrong" - The Government has admitted
they MASSIVLY underestimated how many migrants are working in the UK.
The Home Secretary's apologised for the blunder. There's been an extra
one-point-one million migrants since 1997, that's 300-thousand more than
previously stated.
The Conservatives have accused the government of losing control over
immigration.
But Jacqui Smith says the important message is that more jobs have been
created under Labour.
